Our Bike Ed Workshops are designed to give you the tools you need to choose a bicycle for transportation or recreation. We host In Classroom, On the Road, and Bike Maintenance Workshops... Together, the three of these will get you well on your way to feeling confident riding your bicycle in the future.

It is your legal right to be on the road on a bicycle, and we are here to provide you with the tools you need to make it easy.

These days, more and more people are choosing a bicycle over a car. The health, environmental, economic, and social benefits are gathering national attention everyday. You might not have ridden a bicycle since you were a kid, but chances are, you are considering it again. Our Bike Ed Workshops are the great way to get comfortable on a bicycle again, and will certainly help you ride more in the future.

Riding a bicycle is making a come back! Whether it's to save money, get exercise, support sustainability, or simply rediscover the fun of riding a bicycle, lots of people are getting back on the saddle. Take one of our workshops and join the movement!

If you would like more information about hosting a Bike Ed assembly at your school, or a Bike Ed workshop at your business, check out our workshop description page.

In the meantime, check out some bike safety tips on our site here.

Check out what some previous students have said about our workshops:

"After completing the workshop, I am more aware of potential safety hazards on the road, and I feel confident when bicycling around town and to work. It's well worth your time, whether you are new to cycling or a seasoned rider."
- Rachel Grossman, SLO resident

"These are critical skills for inexperienced cyclists to learn."

"Even for someone who rides frequently, there is plenty to learn."

"I believe it's a good basic skills class that will, in fact, provide important tidbits of information that could prevent an accident on my bicycle."

"It helps you both as a bicyclist and a driver."
