Kidical Mass is a venue for parents to teach their kids to ride safe & smart.
We ride together as a group through downtown, to share in the joy of riding bicycles.
We educate parents and kids to ride smart, and increase the visibility of families on bicycles in SLO and beyond.
We obey all rules of the road, ride at a mellow pace, and welcome people to join us along the way.
We are open to kids of all ages, join the fun! Check out the map to see our route.
NOTE: ALL participants (kids & adults) must be on a bicycle.
No parents can walk next to their kid on a bicycle, as it is illegal to walk in the roadway and slows down the ride.
We have 'sweepers' who travel slowly to make sure no one is left behind, and make sure everyone stays on the route.

Kidical Mass rides are informal gatherings of
family bicycle riders.

another.
